— Computer work and dinner with SJ&DilK

Gorge-Us Bars

Mix for crust:
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1⁄4 cup melted butter
Spray a 9 x 13" pan with non-stick spray. Pat the crumb mixture on the bottom.

Then in turn, pour these over the crumbs:
  • 6 oz pkg. chocolate chips
  • 6 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips
  • 1-1/3 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Finish by pouring 1 can of sweetened condensed milk over all. Bake for 30 minutes at 350° or until just browned on top.
Had my normal breakfast, then worked up a blog entry. Did some computer work.

I had lunch around 12:40 of Clif Bars, because we were out of ham, and continued doing computer work. We left around 5:55 in the Jeep and went ...

To SJ&DilK's (J's Son J and Daughter-in-law K's) for dinner. I held GJ (grandson J, age 4) and GS (granddaughter S, age 2.5) upside down, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. We had dinner of some delicious Chicken Tortilla soup that DilK made in the crockpot. After dinner, J and I played Slam, a word card game, with GA (grandson A, age 8). We had dessert of Gorge-Us Bars that J had made.

We returned to the RV around 8:30 and I did some more computer work.
